Dr Selwyn Earl Rose
Dr Selwyn Earl Rose is an MBCHB-qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon practising from Life The Glynnwood Hospital (Benoni) & Dalview Clinic (Brakpan), Johannesburg. Dr Selwyn Rose attained his MBCHB from the University of Pretoria in 2003. After deciding to specialise in orthopaedics, he completed his Fellowship training through the College of Medicine of South Africa in 2013. Furthermore, he completed postgraduate ATLS, AO courses and an AO Trauma course in Davos, Switzerland, in 2015, as well as through the Smith & Nephew Arthroplasty Academy in 2014.
Dr Rose spent a year completing his internship through Helen Joseph Hospital, completing daily hospital rounds. Soon after, between 2005 to 2007, Dr Rose went on to pursue community service at Rob Ferreira Hospital, where he provided the highest form of medical care to his patients. After that, he worked as an orthopaedic registrar at Kalafong Hospital and Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital from 2007 to 2013. Thereafter, in 2015, Dr Rose began practising as an orthopaedic surgeon at Life Suikerbosrand Hospital.
Dr Rose is a consultant in the Orthopaedic Department at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and an orthopaedic surgeon at Life the Glynnwood Hospital. From 2015 to date, he practises as an orthopaedic surgeon at Life Dalview Hospital, where he diagnoses and treats orthopaedic injuries, trauma, tumours and infections.
